The adventure of hiking a potato

Man, you have to take it easy on potato chips in order to hike to potato chip rock... it was tougher than expected! But sooooo pretty and December is the perfect time to hike in California. We also brought along Chastity the cat because she needs adventures every once in a while.  Yes i look like a goof, but my sparkle converse and flower leggings were all i had here in Cali!

the view. Breathtaking!

best Christmas gift, getting your bff flown out to Cali for a week.

I call this, the Circle of Life.

Going out with a bang, celebrating Christmas with the friends at a sweater party.  I'm going to miss these people. Hopefully I'll be back!!

Swoon Worthy

Ok so i just got some sneak peeks at the last wedding i helped with on my internship and they're beautiful!! I'm only sharing the details, but the pictures of the couple were to die for, stunning and I wish i could share them with you. Anyway, here's a professional look (photos by Brandon Kidd Photography) at our work for Carlie and Nate who have been told they were "cut from the same cloth".

Throwback to my very first wedding! 12 hours in 100+ degree weather. Definitely memorable. It's been a blast working with these girls.

Bleh Bleh Bleh. Computer crash. Bleh

A few weeks ago my computer out of the blue decided to crash. With it, all my pictures and music and school work for the past 3 years of college. Fortunately I'm not in school so I didn't loose any projects or papers. BUT i did loose pictures and music.  Luckily i figured all my pictures were posted on my blog or facebook or instagram so in reality I didn't loose them like it might seem. And as for music...if i really missed a song I'd re-download it. No biggie.  Recently i found that a good chunk (like this whole last year of posts) all of a sudden had technical issues and the pictures i had posted were now "no-entry" or in other words, won't show up anymore.  So sad all that work i put in to posting pictures one day quits on me. Some of them are not recoverable, but I'm doing my best to fix past posts and the now lack of pictures. Tricky part is, i don't have those pictures on my laptop anymore haha Some of my posts from my internship had photos that i cannot recover, like the pretty ones that profesh photographers take so they're being replaced with my shaky hand phone pictures.....not ideal! Even if you weren't looking for an explanation, here it is.

Happy 60th Fred

We did a birthday party for these people who had an AMAZING house, it's their 2nd one so it's empty. But still unbelievable breathtaking for being empty. Maybe it was my dream house. Courtyard and all. Plus the pool, mini golf backyard, fireplace in each room, and the walk in closets. ummmm yes please!  The party turned out great! Lots of rich people, but great food and we brought in a lot of pretty lounge furniture and tables.  It was a lovely night!
the plates. the gold-ware. the glasses. All masculine but to DIE for!!!

He loves dominos so we used dominos to get people seated to their tables!

Big Sur

There's this place in California that is located on the beach and has cliffs and large trees. It is known as Big Sur.  This woodsy feel was brought to a terrace of the L'auberge resort in Del Mar.  The view was incredible of the ocean.  Trees were brought in and we played off textures, mostly fabric since this couple has been told they were "cut from the same cloth".  This lovely couple got married in the temple then celebrated a day later. This celebration was well worth the price tag.  So many fun details we got to put together!!
temporary tattoo station, cause love is permanent;)

cutest lounge, the marquees are a fun touch!
