DIY

Proud moment: came up with this idea on my own, found the fabric from an old turtle neck shirt found at a thrift store, and implemented the process myself! Don't look too close however, I like the after on the right MUCH better. These combat boots just got a Jessica makeover that peeks out depending on how I wear them:) florals obviously had to happen.

Guess what!...Love on Aisle 4:)

Amorology had two weddings this Saturday.  One we did design for, an apple orchard venue in Julian playing off the theme of apples and the fact that the couple met as managers of Trader Joe's. Hence the grocery store theme.  This look really came together well and I adored the concept as well as the few pictures I've seen since I wasn't able to be there in person to set up. The good photos were taken by Brittany Dow Photography. Some Heather was able to capture and can be found on her Instagram.

Desserts were apple pie, carmel apples, and cookie butter.....which if you haven't tried is AMAZING.

All the textures of the stationary are so fun!

Escort card table: names were the labels of cans which were custom made!
Paper bags, a cash register and scale capture the idea that "good things are worth the weight"

I love the floral/garland at the bar!

These mini pies were favors. The guest were able to take something "From the Orchard" that was "Sweet as Pie"

Instead of attending this apple party, I was helping out with a month-of service wedding in Rancho Santa Fe at a mansion residence.  The bride and family completely come up with ideas and design it all, we just make it happen the day of so they can focus on the whole getting married part.  I honestly loved how clean and simple everything looked.  The groom's parents were from Egypt and moved to Canada, so there were a lot of foreign guests that came to the wedding from Egypt, France, Spain...way cool! I captured just a few of the details.  The florals were very minimal, but just enough to add texture.  They were completely white and simple, to match all the other decor. At night once all the candles were lit and the globe lights came on, things looked stunning! My phone didn't quite do it justice haha
